چکیده

The G protein-coupled receptor, class C, group 5, member A (GPRC5A) plays a key role in various diseases, but its effect on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and the potential underlying mechanisms remains unclear. In present study, we explored of GPRC5A progression HCC further mechanism action. results revealed that expression was lower tissues cells. Overexpression suppressed proliferation epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) addition, overexpression induced oxidative stress apoptosis. Further study showed inhibited STAT3/Socs3/c-‍MYC related-protein NLRP3 inflammasome. Moreover, inflammasome involved These suggest suppresses EMT, induces leads to apoptosis cells, potentially by regulating signalling findings has an anti-tumor formation HCC, molecular therapy provides theoretical basis for treating HCC.

PRMT5 promotes cell proliferation by inhibiting BTG2 expression via the ERK signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma

Increasing evidence suggests that PRMT5, a protein arginine methyltransferase, has roles in cell growth regulation and cancer development. However, the role of PRMT5 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression remains unclear. Here, we showed that PRMT5 expression was frequently upregulated in HCC tissues, and its expression was inversely correlated with overall survival in HCC patients. PRMT...

The miR-383-LDHA axis regulates cell proliferation, invasion and glycolysis in hepatocellular cancer

Objective(s): To explore the correlation between expression patterns and functions of miR-383 and LDHA in hepatocellular cancer (HCC). Materials and Methods: We detected the expression of miR-383 and LDHA in 30 HCC tissues and their matched adjacent normal tissues using qRT-PCR. Then we performed MTT assay, foci formation assay, transwell migration assay, glucose uptake assay and lactate produc...

CSIG promotes hepatocellular carcinoma proliferation by activating c-MYC expression

Cellular senescence-inhibited gene (CSIG) protein significantly prolongs the progression of replicative senescence, but its role in tumorigenesis is unclear. To reveal the role of CSIG in HCC, we determined its expression in HCC tissues and surrounding tissues and its functions in tumor cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo. CSIG protein was overexpressed in 86.4% of the human HCC cancerous t...

PCDH10 gene inhibits cell proliferation and induces cell apoptosis by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

Protocadherin10 (PCDH10), a member of the non‑clustered protocadherin (PCDH) family, functions as a tumor-suppressor gene in many cancers. Previous studies have demonstrated that the expression of PCDH10 was noticeably downregulated in the tissue and cells of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), when compared to those in normal liver tissue. The decreased PCDH10 expression in HCC was correlated with...

miR-92a promotes hepatocellular carcinoma cells proliferation and invasion by FOXA2 targeting

Objective(s): MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are considered as powerful, post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression in hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HCC). However, the function of miR-92a is still unclear in HCC. Materials and Methods: Expression of miR-92a in human HCC cell lines was evaluated using qRT-PCR. MTT assay and transwell assay were used to examine the function of miR-92a in HepG2 and ...
